Apple Pie

Apples from our garden becomes goodies in the kitchen

This apple pie is very easy and yet incredible good.

The secret is in the topping that I´ve invented myself because I´m a big butter lover !

 

What you need:

5 good apples

200 g sugar

200 g butter

200 g flour

1/5 teaspoon cinnamon

Ekstra sugar, butter and cinnamon for topping

What to do:

First of all peel the apples and remove the core

Cut them in half and cut again into slices of about 1 cm thick

Add the sliced apples in a pie shape (24 cm)

Put sugar, butter and flour in a food processor and whisk until mixed

Crumble it over the apples and press lightly with your fingers where it is needed

 

So the secret:

Cut thin slices (0.5 cm) of real butter. Add these out carefully over the cake, but let there be a little space between them.

Finally, sprinkle a thin layer of sugar and cinnamon over the entire cake.

It is ready to be baked at about 200 g for 40 min. Or until it has a golden tan
